The Perks Of Commercial Window Cleaning

There are several ways to clean the windows of a commercial building, but as a sole proprietor your best two options are either with a large ladder or a water fed pole. I will talk about both options in latter articles, but you should greatly consider buying a water fed pole if you want to have commercial window cleaning be your focus.

With commercial window cleaning you will most likely spend more than one day on the job unless of course it’s a low rise building. For my San Diego Window Cleaning business my preference is to clean low rise so that I can finish the same day. I also limit my self to two stories on commercial buildings. To keep my time up and lower my liability.

Perhaps one of the best aspects of commercial window cleaning is that there are fewer competitors, most window cleaners do not want to either buy the equipment necessary to do these larger jobs or they do not want to take a price cut. I’m sure if you can clean fast enough you can make up the difference in price. Commercial will also allow you to grow your business to where you can hire other people since you will have contracts with these businesses guaranteeing so many repeat cleanings. As long as you do good work they should continue to renew your contract every year.

Also commercial window cleaning is a bit more relaxing in some ways, usually the people you clean for are not so picky about a speck here or there. You just do your thing cleaning the windows and do a good job, but perfection is not required. I have done several jobs with my San Diego Window Cleaning business and have never had a unhappy customer. The only thing that is different from residential window cleaning is locating a good water source and waiting to get paid anywhere from 30 days to 90 days depending on your client.
